I started a payroll service in Durango, Colorado in 1993. As a graduate of the University of Colorado with a major in accounting, I passed the CPA exam in spring of 1981 and became a CPA in 1983 working for the now-gone Fox and Company, CPAs. I recovered my sanity shorty after this and left the CPA world. I am no longer a practicing CPA. I don’t keep my license up to date. I just keep my head involve in all things payroll.
